In the years after this book was published discoveries were made that changed what was known about the Battle of Bosworth: the location of the battlefield and the remains of King Richard III. In 2020 a new version of this book was published to reflect this more recent information, with new text and three new paintings by Graham Turner. However, the six paintings from the original 1999 book are not included in the new edition.
