Damon Hill in his Williams-Renault leads the field through the first corner, going on to score a dominant victory during the chase for the World Championship.

Damon Hill's Williams-Renault challenges Michael Schumacher's Benetton-Renault for the lead on the wet track as they brake for Les Combes. Schumacher went on to win, with Hill finishing second.

Jean Alesi takes his Ferrari into the lead from Damon Hill and Gerhard Berger to score his first Grand Prix victory. This popular win on the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve coincided with his 31st Birthday.
